Kapil Dev’s Early Life was filled with passion and ambition. Born in 1959 in Chandigarh, India, Kapil Dev was the son of a grain merchant. He developed an interest in cricket at a young age and was selected to play in the Haryana school cricket team. He was then chosen to play for the Punjab under-16s, which led to him being selected for the North Zone under-19s. His hard work and dedication paid off and he was soon selected to play for the Indian national team in 1978. His impressive performances saw him become the captain of the team in 1982.
